COVID- 19 is probably the worst thing everyone is facing at this phase of life. With talk of airports opening at few places, it’s possible we may soon start travelling to places. While we are safely staying at home for so many days, what we miss the most is hanging out with friends and chilling out, shopping and enjoying. Travelling anywhere even after Corona virus ends is a huge risk because it’s not going to vanish soon. So proper precautions are necessary to be taken.
The risk of getting infected comes mainly from direct contact with infected persons and contact with surfaces that an infected person has been in contact with. First of all, start with making the list of things you need to take. This list should not be the same as before. Take things like hand sanitizers, disinfectant wipes, tissues, and a face mask. These items will give a certain kind of protection to you.
Choose transportation methods carefully. Try to book or hire a private vehicle rather than travelling in public transport. Make sure you disinfect the vehicle before sitting on it and regularly use sanitizers in your hands.
Keep human contact to a minimum and maintain distance as much as possible. Do not touch any common surfaces at airport food or retail outlets and maintain 6-foot distance from all staff members everywhere you go. Attempt payments via digital and contactless options as far as possible. And most important, carry your own water bottle. Sharing things especially which you are going to consume will surely bring you to higher risks. So avoid eating or drinking from someone else’s stuff.
