We are so used to the surrounding we live in that we find everything familiar and the same boring! But we have no idea about the fantastic unreal looking places in other parts of the world. Whether it’s natural formation or man made these places have to be seen to be believed.
NAMIB-NAUKLUFT NATIONAL PARK, NAMIBIA
It is the largest game park in all of Africa. But the things that mostly attract people here is its unique topography and plant life. The park is home to the highest sand dunes in the world. You can find many dead trees there giving a blackish appearance to the park. It’s an eerie but a beautiful sight.
FLATHEAD LAKE, USA
It is the largest American freshwater lake. It has a surface area of nearly 2 miles. When the water is still, the water is so clear that you can see all the way to the bottom.
GRAND PRISMATIC SPRING – WYOMING, USA
If you see it, you won’t believe it really exist on earth! It’s the largest hot spring in the United States and the third largest in the world. It is a rainbow like structure, very colourful and hot.
REYNISDRANGAR ROCKS, ICELAND
The Reynisdrangar rocks were formed when two trolls dragged a three-masted ship toward land. The rock as well as the beauty of Iceland drives people towards it. Scientists believe that the structures were once connected to the Reynisfjall mountain range but were separated from it after many years of erosion.
DOOR TO HELL – DERWEZE, TURKMENISTAN
The Door to Hell is a fiery hole in the ground that has been burning steadily for over four decades with no signs of stopping.
REAL-WORLD SILENT HILL PENNSYLVANIA
This hill is basically known for all the horror incidents occurring near it. There is also a video game called silent hill and the fictional town of silent hill in the game is actually based on a real near ghost town.
