There’s so much more to Dubai
For long, there has been a notion that Dubai is nothing but a concrete jungle where tall skyscrapers and towering architecture engulf everything. However, do not be fooled by this theory – the city is also about pristine beaches and awesome sunsets.
It is, after all, situated on the edge of the Arabian Gulf, and has made UAE a great hub for multitasking. We have listed out a few locations to make your summer experience all the more immersive.
Al Sufouh Beach
This beach is also known as the Black Palace Beach as it is extremely close to the private island and the palace of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE. On the right is Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, and the sun sets on the left over Palm Jumeirah. The water is shallow and can be a great place for the kids to splash around and soak in the setting.
This beach is now part of the world-famous Caesars resort and has risen to become Dubai’s latest and shiniest beach club. And well, do not be under the illusion that the prices at this place will be too exorbitant – despite the exclusive location, the prices and deals remain the same. All one needs to do is to book a single mattress, single sunbed and spend the entire day looking on at the pristine views from the prime location.
La Mer, which is the newest entrant on the block, has found its reckoning as it has one of the top seaside restaurants, cafés and a huge number of ice cream parlours. Then there are the beach bars which provide al fresco dining and drinking with an awesome sight to behold. You cannot take a dip in the dark, but well, you can sit and listen to the sound of the waves and enjoy the setting sun.
