While most people avoid such things and are afraid of ghosts, there are another group of people who have always wanted to explore and know about this suspicious world. Many people don’t even believe that ghosts exist and it is a hard thing to say until we don’t get to experience it ourselves.

The list of haunted places in India is a long one, each one associated with chilling history or folklore. These places include forts, courtrooms and even schools. Here is a list of places you should definitely visit if you want to seek the supernatural you always wanted to.

DOW HILL, KURSEONG, WEST BENGAL

The Victoria Boy’s High School and Dowhill Girl’s Boarding School in Kurseong, Darjeeling, is said to be haunted by many spirits whose footsteps can be heard during the night. There have been many murders found near the school and it is said that a headless boy has been seen in the forest many times. 

MUKESH MILLS, MUMBAI

It is a popular location for many TV shows and films. It has a dilapidated structure and warehouse-like look. It was ones a thriving mill which did not work well and was shut down later and an unexplained fire broke out on the mill. But there is something spooky about this place, so much so that shoots wrap up before sunset as no one wants to be here late night. People have allegedly heard strange voices, things are reported lost and on one or two occasions, people suddenly seem to get possessed.

MALCHA MAHAL, DELHI

Malcha Mahal is a restricted area and any person who is seen here can be shot dead. Yes, the reason for this is not a ghost but the people who still live in this house but they have killed so many people out there that the place has become haunted.
