This book was published by Crown and was released in 24 languages. This book tells about the author’s personal experience about how she found her voice, her public health campaign and her life as a mother. This book traces Obama’s early life with her parents and her siblings along with her romantic relationship and everybody can relate to it. We like books which match our character and so does this book. It tells about how to deal with circumstances everybody has to face throughout their lives.
THE TESTAMENTS-MARGARET ATWOOD
This book was published in 2019 and is based on the events of the Handmaid’s tails. It was also voted ‘Best Fiction’ novel in the Goodreads Choice Awards 2019, winning by over 50,000 votes. The novel alternates between the perspectives of three women, presented as portions of a manuscript written by one and testimony by the other two.
THE KITE RUNNER- KHALED HOSSEINI
The Kite Runner was published in 2003 and was written by Khaled Hosseini, first Afghani-American author. This book narrates the father son relationship and their attachment towards each other. Themes of guilt and redemption feature prominently in the novel, with a pivotal scene depicting an act of sexual assault that happens against Hassan, a character in the novel that Amir, his friend fails to prevent.
