The dietary disease, which affects all range of age groups, is usually taken lightly. Human stomach naturally produces gastric or Hydrochloric Acid (HCl) to help digest and break down food. People take it as part of normal discomfort in the stomach. However, sometimes it gives severe pain to the stomach and chest. Mix a teaspoon of turmeric in a cup of warm milk and have it before bed. Moreover, the study found that the compounds in turmeric can help to prevent heart diseases as well.

Ajwain or Carom Seeds
An important member of spices, Carom seeds (Ajwain) contains an ingredient named Thymol which helps to release gas. You can have about a half-teaspoon of carom seeds with water once a day to cure gastric problem.

Jeera carries essential oils that stimulate salivary glands which helps in better digestion of food and prevents the formation of excess gas. Drinking Jeera water is a good remedy for gastric issues. Mix a tablespoon of cumin seeds with water and boil it for 10-15 minutes. Once it is cooled, drink the water after meals.
Lukewarm water mixed with a half teaspoon of Heeng is very useful to curb the gas problems. Heeng contains anti-flatulent component that prevents the growth of the gut bacteria. The bacteria produce excess gas in the stomach. You can include Heeng in your daily meal and can use it as Daal and Buttermilk tempering.
Lime Juice with Baking Soda
Lime juice with Baking Soda is also a very good remedy to curb gastric ailments. Mix a teaspoon of lime juice and a half teaspoon of Baking Soda in a cup of water and drink it after meals as it helps in forming carbon dioxide which facilitates the process of digestion.
