Yes, we know the craving of gorging on the plates of pakoras and enjoying it with cups of tea. Well, it is advised that you stay away from it as much as possible. During this season, the digestive system is not in peak health owing to the humidity in the air and hence, deep-fried food might not be good.
Normally, these find a mention in a list of must-haves, but during this season, leafy vegetables become a breeding ground for many germs which then lead to food poisoning. Hence, the normally healthy, lettuce, spinach, cabbage, and cauliflower should be kept away from your plate in the monsoon season.
Even when the weather is dry, mushrooms need to be cleaned well before consumption, but during the monsoons, the risk of acquiring bacterial infections increase exponentially. Since we want you to be safe, hale and hearty, we advise you to refrain from consuming mushroom.
Cut fruits which are exposed for a long time
Any food which has been exposed for a long time is contagious and this increases manifold during the monsoon. The air is always contaminated as people keep catching the flu and hence, cut fruits which are left out in the open for a long time should be avoided.
