FAMOUS DISHES OF RAJASTHAN
Rajasthan, the land of Maharajas, is famous for its rich culture. But what makes
the state distinctive and popular is its cuisine. Rajasthanis love their food and it is
evident in their preparations. Dal Bati Churma and Laal Maas are the most famous
dishes from the state. Every food enthusiast must have tasted them at least once.

DAL BATI CHURMA
As an iconic traditional food of Rajasthan – Dal Bati Churma is a hot favorite not
only amongst the native people but also among the tourists. The lip-smacking dish
comprises of a sumptuous combination of baked bati, dipped in ghee, panchmel
or panchkuti dal, and jaggery mixed churma. It tastes best with Panchmel dal and
melted ghee.
METHI BAJRA POORI
Methi Bajra Poori is a healthy Rajasthani food, prepared in minimum oil. Bajre ka
atta gives an awesome flavor to this superb street food of Rajasthan when served
piping hot. It tastes best with Aloo ki sabzi, chutney, and raita.
LAAL MAANS
It is a mutton curry prepared in a sauce of yogurt and hot spices such as red
Mathania chilies. This dish typically is very hot and rich in garlic, the gravy may be
thick or liquid and is eaten with chapatis made out of wheat or bajra.
CHURMA LADOO
Churma Ladoo is a traditional mithai offered to Lord Ganesh. Made from wheat
flour, jaggery and ghee it tastes absolutely divine. It is called churma laddoo as the
first process of frying wheat flour balls is then broken down to pieces
(make churma) and then rolled into laddoo shape with jaggery and ghee.
